How we review
Every rating on this site follows the same process. Here's exactly what goes into it.
1. We verify the numbers
Before a word is written, we confirm each game's return-to-player (RTP), volatility and maximum win against the provider's own published data. RTP tells you the theoretical long-run return; volatility tells you how that return arrives — steady small wins or rare large ones. We report both plainly.
2. We assess how it actually plays
Numbers set expectations; gameplay confirms them. We look at the base game, the feature triggers, the bonus mechanics and the max-win probability — and we're honest when a headline ceiling is realistically out of reach for most sessions.
3. We rate value, not hype
Our 1–5 rating weighs RTP against the market average (~96%), the quality and frequency of features, and how the risk profile matches its intended player. A high-variance slot isn't "bad" — it's simply not for everyone, and we say who it is for.
4. We keep independence
Some pages contain affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up with an operator we feature — at no cost to you. This never changes a rating or a recommendation. A great score is earned on merit, not on a commercial arrangement, and we disclose links clearly wherever they appear.
5. We keep it current
Games and terms change. Reviews carry a "last updated" date, and we revisit them when RTP versions, features or operator terms shift.
